Victoria was always different and never really bonded with anyone. Victoria was petite and quiet. She became a target for bullying among a group of teenage girls in her school and neighborhood. These girls spread false lies about Victoria to tarnish her reputation. She was constantly tormented by these girls and began to skip school. While she was in school she hid in the bathroom stalls and she started to fail in school. Victoria’s grandmother was a praying women and she noticed a change in Victoria. She started to pray for her granddaughter and things began to change. One day Victoria received a warning about these girls planning to jump her and she was able to avoid the attack. Victoria developed a relationship with God because she was won over by his love through her grandmother. Since her grandmother’s prayers she was able to be at peace with her enemies.
Are you being persecuted by your enemies? Maybe you experienced bullying as a child or have children being bullied today. Childhood bullying is a serious issue today where many kids are seriously hurt or commit suicide. We have to rise up and make a stand against this issue. Other than changing your child’s school or avoiding our enemies, we can cry out to God. We change things with our prayers. The prayer of a righteous man avails much. Psalms 34:17 says, “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” All your troubles might not go away but with God’s help things become easier to deal with because we are casting our cares upon the Lord and letting go our burdens. Sometimes in life we need to recognize that the battle is not ours but the Lord’s. So the best thing to do is to trust the Lord and stand on his promises based on his word.
Let’s pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come boldly to your throne. I need protection from my enemies. I pray a hedge of protection and a fire wall around me. Proverbs 16:7 says,” When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” God I will worship you based on your promise of deliverance. 2 Kings 17:39 says, “Rather, worship the LORD your God; it is he who will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies." Lord, I refuse to be afraid because Deuteronomy 3:22 says, “Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God He shall fight for you. “
Deuteronomy 1:29-30, says "Do not be in dread or afraid of them. The Lord your God who goes before you will Himself fight for you." Lord I thank you in advance for hearing my prayer and answering my prayer. I know that I am protected based on your word. Psalms 14:6 says, “The wicked frustrate the plans of the oppressed, but the Lord will protect his people.” God I will continue to praise you regardless and my mind will be stayed on you so I can have perfect peace. In Jesus name Amen.
