PRAYERS

When you pray, you should pray effectively by using scriptures. Praying with God’s word is praying the will of God. 1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hear us.” Pray God’s words aloud and pray the prayers on this website out loud. The reason is because the enemy is the prince of the air and your prayers are powerful.

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” God wants you to remind him of his word. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Once you pray for something, you should speak positive words so you will not give the enemy any power in your life and have any setbacks to your prayers from being answered. Once you pray, you should switch over to praise and start thanking God for answering your prayer.

You can pray the prayers on this website as often as you need to just to remind God of his word. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Don’t pray the problem but pray the solution or the end result. God already knows the problem before you even come to him. Before you pray, you have to make sure you have a relationship with God.

Jealousy

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy (Psalm 28:6). Lord, I confess that I have been dealing with jealousy. I repent of this sin O God. Lord, bless me to overcome my personal insecurities because it can bread a host of jealous strife. Bless me to base my security on you and not on the opinion, affirmation, and acceptance of other people. Sometimes I feel rejected or unloved that leads to me feeling insecure leading me to perceive the strengths of other people as threats to me. Lord, your word tells me of your unfailing love and acceptance for me. Lord, I Trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me (Psalm 13:5-6).

Lord I decree Psalm 48:9 that within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love. I decree Psalm 143:8 that the morning will bring me a word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. I decree 1 Samuel 12:22 that the sake of his great name the Lord will not reject his people, because the Lord was pleased to make me his own. I decree Psalm 27:10 that though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. I decree and declare 1 Peter 2:9 that I am a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Lord, I realize that fear can be another instigator of jealousy and a life of fear is devastating to my relationships. Lord if I control through fear my relationships or positions I desired will not be maintained. Lord bless me to realize that there is nothing that I can hang on to that is worth what I am giving up. Lord, bless me to feel the peace that Jesus Christ gives me when I allow him to have free reign over my life. In the end, jealousy does not keep, it pushes away! Lord bless me to transform my thoughts through your Word. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18). I decree and declare that I did not receive a spirit that makes me a slave again to fear, but I received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father" (Romans 8:15). It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1). To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude 24).

Lord, I realize that deception can also play a role in cultivating jealousy in my heart. Lord when this happens I may perceive a threat that in reality does not exist. Deception can cause perception of my life to be distorted due to lies that I believe about others and myself. I decree that I will know the truth, and the truth will set me free (John 8:32). Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long (Psalm 25:4-5). Do not snatch the word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws (Psalm 119:43). The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth (Psalm 145:18). But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come (John16:13).

Lord, keep me away from covetousness because it is a deep desire to obtain a possession of another person and leads towards aggressive jealousy. The Ten Commandments says "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor" (Exodus 20:17). Lord, I realize covetousness invades me when I am not satisfied with the blessings God has bestowed upon me. I decree that each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load (Galatians 6:4-5). Lord, you are my redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. You are the Lord my God, who teaches me what is best for me, who directs me in the way I should go. If only I had paid attention to your commands, my peace would have been like a river, my righteousness like the waves of the sea (Isaiah 48:17-18).

Isaiah 46:4 says, “Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Matthew 6:25 says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Psalm 145:16 says, “You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.” I decree and declare Romans 12:1-2 that I will offer my body as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God because this is my spiritual act of worship. I will not be conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of my mind. Then I will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will." Thank you for answering this prayer in Jesus Name Amen.
