Karen was only six years old when she first experienced her first sexual encounter. How could this happen to such an innocent young child? Her childhood memory was violated with such perverse thoughts and actions. Her encounter with multiple young boys fondling her and pretending to play house lead to the misconception of the ideal notion of that sex that God established. These encounters lead to the pathway of Karen experiencing fornication and lifestyle full of pain and destruction. Maybe you were a Karen growing up. If so it’s okay, there is a better way and it’s not too late for a life of peace and redemption. There is a God who cares for you and loves you. Karen did not have biblical knowledge and did not know God for herself growing up. But one day watching television late night, she heard a message of hope. It was about God’s unconditional love. She had been hurting for so long and she decided to give God a chance, and her life has never been the same.
John 6:14, says Jesus answered, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. You may be hurting right now just like Karen due to the many men of your past who may have mistreated you or disrespected you. Call out to Jesus and get to know him for a better life. Let Jesus carry your burdens of pain and any other issues you are dealing with. Matthew 11:30, says” For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” You may be feeling like you are missing something in life. You may have notice that your way is not working. Let’s try a new way, God’s way. You may notice a feeling a void in your heart. That’s great that you notice this because God wants a relationship with you and only this void he can fill. John 3:16, says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” God loves you so much, and he understands your pain. Will your hearts will receptive to God’s message today?
Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are a sovereign God who understands the pain that I am feeling. I am tired of my destructive lifestyle and all the negativity that is associated with it. Lord, I am asking you to come into my heart and change me. Lord, I believe that your way for my life is better than my way and anything I could ever imagine. 2 Corinthians 5:17, says “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Since I believe that you died on the cross for the remission of my sins, I know that I am saved and have the gift of salvation. I believe that you will change me into something better for your glory Lord. Lord, I refuse to walk around here carrying this pain but I will leave it at the cross. Isaiah 26:3, says” You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.” Lord, I will focus on you and put you first so I can have profound peace in my life. In Jesus name Amen.
